Valentine's Day Card Drive
We are excited to be able to facilitate another Valentine’s Day card drive for the senior residents at McConachie Gardens. If you have extra Valentine’s Cards, or are interested in making cards/drawings/letters, we are more than happy to collect them.
All items will be delivered on Valentine’s Day morning - Wednesday, February 14th.

Public Engagement - Edmonton-Strathcona Footbridge Preliminary Design
This online presentation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to share the preliminary design for the proposed footbridge and open spaces on each side of the North Saskatchewan River. Potential impacts to local trails during construction will also be presented.

Santa is Coming to Zoom!
Covid may have taken the holidays away from us, but it cant take us away from the holidays! Santa is staying COVID-Safe this year but he still wants to see you! Join us for a Santa Meet & Greet over Zoom. Event will run every Saturday and Sunday 10-11 am , 11am-12 pm and 5-6 pm, 6-7 pm from November 28 to December 20. Limited spots are available (12 families per hour) and they will go fast so reserve your tickets through Event Brite (link below) soon!
PLEASE NOTE:
1. ONE registration PER family, not PER kid
2. Due to our limited man power, this event is only open to Horse Hill Communities (Cy Becker, McConachie, Brintnell, Quarry Ridge, HorseHill). Our volunteers will collect your child's Santa letters to hand off to Santa a few days before each event date and his elves will drop off a gift an hour before your session begins. Please send us a message if you would like a wish list form!
3. A $3 fee includes event activities (Zoom meetings, letter pick up and gift drop off for all children attendees from Santa's Elves) and all EventBrite fees. This fee is per family, not per child.

Symphony in the Hills
Symphony In the Hills, an outdoor concert by musicians of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and hosted by Horse Hill Community League.

This event is weather dependent and will be a 4 part orchestra. Shows are approximately 45-60 min long. Please arrive early for optimal seating and to get organized before the event starts.
In lieu of tickets, donations are encouraged. All proceeds support The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and musicians. All donations are tax deductible and will be matched 100% by an anonymous donor.
